Regulator PFRDA today said funds transferred from provident fund account to National Pension System (NPS) account will not attract any tax. "The amount so transferred from recognised Provident Fund/Superannuation Fund to NPS is not treated as income of the current year and hence not taxable," it said while specifying procedure for effecting transfers. Country's largest lender State Bank of India today launched a new facility to enable its employees to work from home. The Board of the bank has recently approved the 'Work from Home' policy to enable its employees to work while at home using mobile devices to address any urgent requirement they may have, that prevents their travelling to work.
