Employees to Get Pension Payment Order on Retirement Day The Union minister Jitendra Singh have informed that the government has decided to give pension payment order to employees on the day of their retirement. He added that the goal is to ensure 100 per cent payment of all retirement dues and the delivery of pension payment order to retiring employees on the day of retirement itself. The Minister was addressing the state secretaries (pension) in Delhi at the first interactive conference.

The Department of Pension and Pensioner's Welfare is working with the vision of ensuring the life of dignity for pensioners, the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said. The Department has taken a number of steps including review of forms and simplification of procedures.

An online Pension Sanction & Payment Tracking System - called BHAVISHYA - has been launched, a press release issued by the Ministry of Personnel said.

"By ensuring complete transparency, this system would obviate delays in sanction and payment of pension," it said.
