No premium trains for official travel

Government employees boarding 'premium trains' run by Indian Railways for their official business will not be entitled for reimbursement. In a circular, the finance ministry has said that travel by premium trains on official duty is 'not' allowed.

Indian Railways has introduced around 43 premium trains with dynamic fare pricing. Most of these trains are weekly or bi-weekly and run on busy routes such as Delhi- Mumbai. Dynamic fare stands for the fare component which is increased with ..
