HTC unveils successor of HTC One called HTC One (M8)
The HTC has unveiled the One (M8) - the successor of the successful HTC One. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4, KitKat OS. The smartphone has a 5-inch, full HD (1080p) display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait CPUs and fully integrated 4G LTE. The phone has 2GB of RAM. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB by using microSD card. The phone will come in 16GB and 32GB versions. In India 16GB variant will be launched first, 32GB variant will come later.

The phone is dubbed as the world's first smartphone with a duo camera that features HTC's UltraPixel™ module, a dual colour flash and full 1080p HD video recording. Duo camera captures detailed depth information from a scene and enables to change the effects of images and you can change focus of image after it has been captured. The handset has also a 5 MP wide-angle front facing snapper. 

HTC One (M8) packs 2600mAh battery and phone takes one hour to charge 80 per cent of its battery. The battery delivers standby time up to 496 hours for 3G and talk time up to 20 hours for 3G. The phone is available in three colours - Gunmetal Grey, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold, but in India only first two colours will be launched and the other colour will be launched later.
