Alcatel announces affordable smartwatch
Alcatel has announced a smart watch dubbed as "the affordable smartwatch" that will be available at "a fraction of the cost of competitors," but hasn't yet divulged any information about the price or specifications. "A smartwatch that puts a premium on elegant design at a very accessible price," Alcatel says in a press release.

Fromk the marketing image available, the watch is available in a circular design just like the Moto 360, with 4 different straps, which all look pretty stylish. Alcatel OneTouch says its aim was for a traditional look and feel, while the software inside the classy looking shell is packed with many watchfaces and "apps that allow users to monitor daily activity" (let's assume pedometer and heartbeat sensor).

The Android Wear OneTouch Watch will come with sensors and apps to monitor daily activity and would also be able to control music, take photos and receive notifications.

The watch is expected to be launched at the CES 2015.
