Galaxy S5 launched

Galaxy S5 launched Samsung have unveiled its latest flagship Android smartphone, Galaxy S5 at the Mobile World Congress wireless show in Barcelona.

Galaxy S5 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is powered by 2.5GHz Quad-core processor with 2GB RAM.The phone comes in two variants -16GB and 32GB. Both can be expanded up to 64GB.

The Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch FHD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080p.The dimension of the handset is 142.0x72.5x8.1mm and weighs 145g. The smartphone houses 16MP fastest autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 2.1MP front facing camera. The device packs 2,800mAh battery which delivers standby time up to 390 hours and talk time upto 21 hours.

Galaxy S5 is available in black, blue, white and gold colours.The device is water and dust resistant.

The connectivity options are WiFi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac HT80, MIMO(2x2); Bluetooth®: 4.0 BLE / ANT+; USB: USB 3.0; NFC; IR Remote.

Some of the additional features are finger print based biometric technology, built-in heart-rate monitor, Kids mode, Private mode, Download booster, S Health v3.0.
