Acer Launched Budget Tablet - Iconia B1 for Rs. 7999
After speculation of a low budget or $99 tablet, Acer finally launched a 7-inch budget tablet named "Iconia B1" in India. The pricing for the gadget has been fixed at INR 7999/- The device was showcased at CES 2013. The device features a 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. The tablet weighs 320g which makes it quite handy. The Acer Iconia B1 tablet runs latest version of the Google's Android i.e. 4.1 OS (Jelly Bean) powered by MediaTek 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It is powered by a 2,710mAh battery.

The Iconia B1 tablet features 8GB of internal storage and has a microSD slotwhich can support upto 32GB. It has a front facing camera on the top right corner that enables users to seamlessly connect video calls.
