Micromax Canvas 2 and Karbon S1 Titanium to compete with Galaxy Note 2

Micromax Canvas 2 and Karbon S1 Titanium to compete with Galaxy Note 2 Indian manufactures Karbon and Micromax are trying to reduce the gap with global giants like Samsung and Huawei. They are coming up with high end products to counter the successful products like Galaxy Note 2 and Ascend G600.

The Micromax recently launched its premium quad core Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 5” phablet named A100 Canvas 2 and Karbonn has already rolled out the details of its next best gigantic handset offering, dubbed as Karbonn S1 Titanium.

A110 Canvas 2 has a 5 inch IPS screen, dual core 1GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Further, the handset has an 8MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB, 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery offering 5 hours talk time and 180 hours standby. The phone is priced at Rs. 10,299/-

The specifications for the S1 Titanium include 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, High QHD Multi Touch Capacitive Screen, 1600mAh, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n Support, 5MP Rear Camera with Auto Focus & Flash Light, Front Camera and 32 GB external memory card. While, the screen size of the handset is not disclosed by the manufacturer yet, however, one thing is clear, that Karbonn S1 Titanium will come packed with Dual SIM support. Karbonn will get a price tag of Rs 12,999 and will be released in the market really soon.

Its sure with the kind of pricing they are sure to give tough competition to the Galaxy Note 2 – Samsung second generation phablet, successor of Galaxy Note released in India recently at a price tag of Rs 39,990. The flipkart already shows the Canvas 2 as out of stock.
