Skip to mainPanasonic has launched a Dual SIM smartphone in India, the P31 for Rs.11,990. It will be available for purchase starting this week.
The smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The device is powered by an unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, with 1GB of RAM. The handset has 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.
The Panasonic has 5-inch FWVGA display with 480x854 pixel of resolution. The P31 houses 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support which is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos.There is also a VGA front-facing camera of 0.3MP. The P31 is fueled by a 2000mAh battery that is rated for up to 13 hours of 2G talk time and 9 hours of 3G talk time.
The connectivity options housed in the handset include 3G, FM radio, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Bluetooth 4.0.Other features of the P31 include FM with RDS, GPS, G-Sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor and E-compass.
The P31 is the first phone to feature the company’s “Play Life” UI with four features.
Gesture Play- a draw-to-unlock gesture based feature
Pop-i Player- a video player with multitasking capabilities when watching video
Music cafe- music organizer app
Ultimate Saver- to switch battery use modes to conserve battery life
It has Heat-Sink design based feature to reduce the temperature of the smartphone through controlled heat dissipation.
The phone will be available in Bluish Black and Pure White colour variants.
