Acer phablet on the way

Acer phablet on the way Its the time for phablets - placing itself between the size conventional smart phones and tablets. Today we have seen the launch of Samsung Galaxy S IV. And the Acer - brand well known in the laptop market and which had made marks felt in smart phones and tablets does not want to lag behind. The Taiwaneese company is already in the works of its first phablet and is expected to launch the same during the Computex Tech fair in Taiwan this June.

The phablet market is dominated by brands like Samsung, Huawei, HTC, Sony and even smaller Indian players like Micromax, Spice and Lava. With the addition of Acer, users are in for some more choice-that is for certain. Acer in India has not been very active in the recent past except the laptops and not many devices have been announced or made available. We will soon get to know what Acer plans for the Indian market in future.

Technical information about the device's hardware have not been revealed by the company so far, but looking at devices that have been launched by Acer in the past, this one is likely to be a competitor for the big league.
