2013 Facelifted Micra and cheaper Micra Active Launched
Nissan launched a cheaper version of its lower end car Micra - the Micra Active. The company has also launched a facelifted version of the Micra. The new Micra comes with a new front grille, headlamps and front bumper. This makes it look a lot more aggressive styling.

Micra Active is the hatchback for customers seeking an economical car without compromising on quality, fuel efficiency, styling and spacious interiors. It competes with the likes of Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and other B segment hatchbacks. Micra Active features a sporty exterior design, thanks to the redesigned front bumper and lively, roomy interiors. Competitive price for Micra Active has been achieved through design & feature optimization, making the car more accessible for first time car buyers. 

Micra Active The interiors of the refreshed Nissan Micra have been spruced up with brighter fabrics and plastics and a piano black panel on the centre console that houses the restyled air vents and a 2-din stereo.The 2013 model now comes with an optional XTronic ‎CVT gearbox which would return a claimed mileage of 19.34kmpl. A driver airbag is now standard across all Nissan Micra variants. While the driver airbag is standard, dual airbags will be available only in top of the line variant.  New LED tail lights and a new set of alloy wheels (available on higher-end trims) complete the revised exterior styling.

The Nissan Micra Active variant carries ABS and EBD systems for higher safety, sporty bumpers. The model is only available in petrol engine and the base model costs Rs 3.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Micra starts at Rs. 4.79 lakhs
