Nokia's budget android phone on the cards

Nokia's budget android phone on the cards Nokia is likely to unveils its first budget dual SIM Andriod smartphone. The phone is likely to be called Nokia X aka Normandy. Nokia will compete with cheap Android smarthhone in the range Rs.5000 to Rs. 10000.

Normandy as per the leaked informations includes features such as Microsoft apps like Nokia Maps, Nokia Music, Bing, Skype, WhatsApp, Candy Crush Saga, Facebook, Twitter and Outlook. It is likely to come in range of colours including black, green, white, yellow, red and blue.

Normandy will have a 4" display with 854x480 resolution. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Normandy is made up of 1GHz Qualcomm dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 512MB RAM. It has inbuilt storage of 4GB internal storage which is expandable externally by up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card slot.It has a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus & LED Flash and a VGA front facing snapper.

Connectivity options are around GPS, Sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Edge. It houses 2100mAh battery.
