Idea Ultra II and !d 1000 budget smartphones

Idea has launched two new budget dual SIM smartphone, Ultra  II and Idea !d 1000, priced at Rs. 12,500 and Rs. 5,400 respectively.

Both the 3G enabled phones runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Ultra II is powered by an unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The handset has 4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 32GB by using microSD card. The device has 5.5-inch IPS display with qHD 540x960 pixel of resolution.

The smartphone houses 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera which helps in video conferencing. The handset is fueled by  2500mAh battery which provides up to 8 hours of talk time on 2G, and 5 hours on 3G.

The Ultra II smartphone will be available in White and Electric Graphite colour variants and selected states like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, MP & Chhattisgarh, Haryana, UP West, and UP East.

The !d 1000 smartphone has 3.5-inch TFT display with HVGA 320x480 pixel of resolution. A 1GHz dual-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM, powers the handset. The device has 4GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.

The Idea !d 1000 houses only a 2-megapixel rear camera, and no front-facing camera. It packs 1300mAh battery and delivers up to 6.8 hours of talk time on 2G, and 2.8 hours on 3G.

The smartphone comes preloaded with apps such as !dea TV, Facebook, Twitter.
