The Xolo Play 8X-1100 is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor with 2 GB RAM and runs Andorid 4.4 KitKat OS. It features a 5-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The new Xolo smartphone features a 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS Sensor. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 88 degree wide-angle lens and BSI Sensor. It supports 1080p video recording and playback.
Xolo Play 8X-1100 is packed with the latest file sharing technology - Hotknot - which is claimed to transmit data wirelessly placing two devices near each other, with speed 5 times faster than normal Bluetooth. To transfer data, user needs to bring two devices (both should support Hotknot feature) closer, simply by touching screen to screen.
The device has 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB. The phone is packed with a 2100 mAh Li-ion battery. The OTG support allows users to connect pendrives.
