Nokia 301 : 3.5G phone for Rs. 5349

Nokia launched the new phone - 301 with 3.5G Internet speeds. It has a 2.4-inch screen, elegant design and a bold color palette. The phone is available in cyan, yellow, magenta, black and white and is priced at Rs5349. The Nokia 301 is available in Easy Swap Dual SIM model. The phone has a multi-tap keypad with directional pad in the center along with dedicated calling keys. Consumers can also enjoy streaming movies with the exclusive UTV Movies app that comes pre-loaded on it. As of now, the phone is not listed in the Supported Phones for the WhatsApp.

The phone comes with a 3.2MP smart camera with photo editing and sharing options. It has the features for taking Panoramic photos, wide-angle shots, including group photos and landscapes, Sequential shots - capture five frames in a row with just one click. It has n option for taking Self-portrait a front-facing camera with built-in voice prompt guides the user to ensure they are in the frame before taking the shot.

The 5-in-1 camera app lets users choose and apply one of five camera effects to an image.

The phone runs on Series 40 OS. It is 12.5 mm thick and weighs 102 grams. It has Nokia Slam Bluetooth sharing feature. Other features include, 3.5G HSPA, Mail for Exchange, HD voice-ready for crystal clear calls , eBuddy messenger, 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 3.0 support. It has 256MB internal memory, 64MB RAM and support up to 32GB microSD card. It has a 1200 mAh battery and comes with support for USB Charging.
