Centre notifies 30-day ad-hoc bonus for the employees The Government has notified the ad-hoc bonus of 30 days emoluments up to Rs 6,908 to all non-gazetted central government employees and personnel of the armed and para military forces.

The government has sanctioned grant of non-productivity linked bonus (ad-hoc bonus) equivalent to 30 days emoluments for the accounting year 2017-18 to the central government employees of Groups ‘C’, ‘D’ and all non-gazetted employees in Group ‘B’, who are not covered by any Productivity Linked Bonus Scheme. The central Police and para-military personnel and personnel of armed forces are also eligible for the ad-hoc bonus. Employees of the Union Territory Administration, which follows the central government pattern of emoluments and not covered by any other bonus or ex-gratia scheme would also be eligible for this ad-hoc bonus.

The limit for bonus will be Rs 6,908 according to the OM. The calculation ceiling for payment of ad-hoc Bonus under the order shall be monthly emoluments of Rs 7,000.
