The much anticipated Moto G 5G has been launched in India and is sold exclusively on Flipkart. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The phone was initially launched in Europe a couple of months ago. The company claims the model as the most affordable 5G ready phone in India.
The 5G-ready phone doesn't mean you'll immediately get the next-gen connectivity tech. Telecos in India are in the process of testing the networks with 5G capability and India plans to hold its 5G auction in 2021 only. Hence it will be some more time before you can experience the 5G speed.
The Moto G 5G runs on Android 10 and features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) LTPS display of 6.7-inch full-HD+ display with a hole-punch design. The phone comes with a triple camera setup at the back that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The camera on the front is a 16-megapixel one with f/2.2 aperture. It has 128GB internal storage with the option to expand it up to 1TB using a microSD card. The fingerprint sensor on the rear of the phone. The phone comes with 20W TurboPower fast charging option and the with 5000mAh, battery life can last for up to two days.
Connectivity options on the Moto G 5G include 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, GPS, and more.
The phone will be available in Frosted Silver and Volcanic Grey colour options. Look wise it is similar to the Moto G9 Plus phone.
The phone will be available from Flipkart from 7th December. The phone is listed on the site at a price of Rs. 20,999 against MRP of Rs. 24,999.
