CG offices in Andhra Pradesh to have holiday changed to 20th Aug for Muharram

CIRCULAR

Sub: Change of closed holiday on 20 August, 2021 on account of “Muharram” in all Central Government Offices in Andhra Pradesh – Reg.

Ref: 1) DoPT OM in F.No.12/13/2021-JAC-2, dated 11.08.2021.
2) Govt. of Andhra Pradesh Order vide G.O.Rt.No. 1341 & 1342 dated: 18.08.2021.

Vide DoPT OM dated 11.08.2021, the closed holiday on account of “Muharram” has been changed to 20 August, 2021 for offices located in Delhi/New Delhi. For Offices outside Delhi, DoPT has instructed the respective Central Government Employees Welfare Co-ordination Committee to decide the date depending upon the decision of the concerned State Government.

2. The Government of Andhra Pradesh vide its order no. G.O. Rt. No. 1341 & 1342 dated 18.08.2021 has declared closed holiday on account of “Muharram” on 20.08.2021(FRIDAY).

3. Accordingly, the closed holiday on account of “Muharram” will be observed on 20.08.2021 (Friday) instead of 19.08.2021(Thursday) in all Central Government Offices in Andhra Pradesh.
