Mahindra Verito Vibe to be launched on 5th June
In a media release Mahindra, announced that the company will launch their new sub 4 meter car, Verito Vibe in India on 5th June 2013, but didnot disclose like price and official images, which will only be revealed on the launch date.

The Mahindra Vibe is a compact car based on the popular Verito sedan platform and was thought to be a slashed down sedan. Speculated as the Verito CS (compact sedan), the car revealed itself to be actually a big hatchback and got christened as the Vibe. This sub 4 metre vehicle is the result of Mahindra & Mahindra’s focus on the hatchback segment. This upcoming offering from the house of Mahindra is completely diesel centric to cater to the diesel loving populace of India.

The Mahindra Vibe is targeted to the young generation of the auto consumers and has a sporty style to appeal to the aimed audience. Though, the overall looks of the hatchback is similar to that of its sedan sibling Verito, the Vibe does have some trendy individual style elements.

Under the hood, the Mahindra Vibe hatchback is powered by the same Renault K9K 1.5 liter dCi diesel engine that runs the ongoing Verito sedan. This powerful diesel motor delivers 68 Bhp. Mahindra does not have any plans to offer a petrol option of the Vibe.
Mahindra Vibe is scheduled to be launched towards the end of this month. As far as the price is concerned, this latest hatchback is expected to carry a competitive price tag, as Mahindra could save on its development costs owing to the borrowed parts and body panels from the Verito sedan. Moreover, Vibe being a sub-4 metre vehicle will also enjoy excise duty benefits from the Indian government.
