Confederation on Joint Forum for Restoration of Old Pension Scheme actions

The National Joint Council of Action (NJCA), along with the Confederation and other independent federations and associations, held a series of meetings to form a united movement called the Joint Forum for Restoration of Old Pension Scheme (JFROPS) under the banner of NJCA. The main demand of this movement is to scrap the National Pension Scheme (NPS) and restore the Defined Old Pension Scheme (OPS). To plan the future course of action, a steering committee was formed.

On January 21, 2023, a National Convention was organized in New Delhi, where the JFROPS (NJCA) declaration was made. According to the declaration, a series of phased agitational programs were announced, to be held almost every month on the 21st. The last program was a torchlight procession held successfully on May 21. The Confederation, an active member of NJCA, has been actively participating in all these agitational programs.

As per the announced programs, a rally at the state level is scheduled to take place on June 21, with preparatory meetings being held in every state. The General Secretaries/Secretary Generals of each affiliate of the Confederation have been requested to communicate with their members through physical meetings, circulars, and social media platforms. The aim is to ensure maximum participation in the proposed rally at state capitals, along with other constituents, in order to make the program a success.

Dear Comrades,
NJCA, along with Confederation and several other independent Federations/Associations, held a series of meetings to form a Joint moment to launch a United decisive struggle on single Demand of, "Scrap NPS and Restore Defined OPS", a steering committee was formed to decide the future course of action. On the decision of the steering committee a National Convention was held in New Delhi on 21st January 2023, under the banner of JFROPS (Joint Forum for Restoration of Old Pension Scheme), NJCA. As per the declaration of the Convention, a series of phase-wise agitational programs were declared, almost every month on the 21st, the last being the torchlight procession successfully held on the 21st May. Confederation is an active constituent of NJCA and has been at the forefront of all agitational programmes, as per the declared programs on 21st June a Rally at the State level-- at State Capital, is to be conducted, and preparatory meetings for the same are being held in every State.
The General Secretaries/Secretary Generals of each affiliate of the Confederation are requested to reach their rank and files by way of physical meetings, issue Circulars, use social media platforms and ensure maximum participation in the proposed Rally at State capitals along with other constituents, to make the program, successful.
