On Republic Day, the Chhattisgarh government announced that its employees would now work a five-day week starting immediately. Currently it is 6 working days in a week for Chhattisgarh government employees.
As part of the Anshdayi Pension Scheme, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel increased the state's share from 10 per cent to 14 per cent, an increase from the previous 10 per cent.
According to the statement, 10 per cent of plots in OBCs will be reserved for entrepreneurship development in the interest of government employees through an amendment to the inter-industrial policy of the 'Contributory Pension Scheme.'
