The following holidays are applicable for the BSNL Staff in the year 2022. BSNL offices, which include industrial, commercial, and trading establishments, would be required to observe up to 14 holidays per year, including three national holidays, namely Republic Day, Independence Day, and Mahatma Gandhi's birthday. The remaining holidays/occasions for the year 2022 will be determined by the respective Circle Heads. In some of the BSNL regions such as Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and NER, due to the importance of local festivals, the holiday list slightly varies from the New Delhi list. Particularly, the three restricted holidays (Effective Holidays) will be decided by the CGWCC (Central Government Welfare Co-ordination Committee) in the respective State.
