Nikhat Sarin, an Indian boxer, won gold at the World Boxing Championships in Istanbul on Tuesday. Nikhat defeated Thailand's Jutas Jitpong in the women's 52kg category. Nikhat won by five points in the final. Mc Other celebrities who have accomplished this feat include Mary Kom, Sarita Devi, Jenny RL, and Lekha KC. Mary Kom has six world boxing gold medals.
After a six-year absence, the world boxing gold is returning to India. Mary Kom became the last Indian boxer to win a world title in 2018. Nikhat Sarin has now reached the pinnacle of world boxing with this victory. Nikhat advanced to the final by defeating Carolina d'Almeida of Brazil 5-0 in the 52kg semi-finals. Meanwhile, the fight between Manisha and Parveen, two other Indian players, ended in the semi-finals. They each received a bronze medal.
