Interest for computer advance for FY 23-24 fixed @ 9.1%

The government has issued an OM fixing the interest rate for computer advance for the financial year 2023-24 at 9.1%. The rate was 9.80 per annum for the financial year 2022-23. The central government employees can avail advance for purchasing a PC of ₹50,000 or actual price of the PC, whichever is lower.

Subject: Advances to Government Servants — Rate of interest for purchase of Computer during 2023-24.

The undersigned is directed to state that the rate of interest for advance sanctioned to the Government servants for purchase of computer during 2023-24 i.e. from 1st April, 2023 to 31st March, 2024 is as under:

  Rate of interest per annum
Advance for purchase of Computer 9.1%
