Railway pensioners can submit life certificate till 28th February 2022

Railway Board has issued a circular extending the period of submission of life certificates for Railway pensioners till 28th February 2022. This follows the similar circular issued by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare for the Central Government pensioners. The deadline which falls usually on November 30 every year was extended earlier to December 31, 2021, in view of the difficulties faced by the pensioners in the wake of COVID pandemic.
