Railways stops exemption in attendance of employees

Following the Department of Personnel and Training order stopping all exemptions to government employees, the Railway Board has issued an OM on 9 February 2022 stating that employees at all levels have to attend office without any exemption on a regular basis.

The order is reproduced below

Sub: Preventive measures to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) — Attendance of Central Government Officials regarding.

Ref: DoP&T’s O.M No. 11013/9/2014-Estt.A-III dated 06.02.2022.

Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training) vide O.M. dated 06.02.2022 referred to above have issued orders with regard to the attendance of employees at all levels, without exemption, on regular basis.

2. DoP&T’s O.M. dated 06.02.2022 is hereby circulated for compliance by Zonal Railways, PUs, etc.
