Sub: Grant of Conveyance Allowance at the revised rate to Railway Medical Officers.

Ref: MoH&FW’s O.M. No. 45013/01/2020-CHS-V (8077716), dated 01.12.2021 (copy enclosed).

Ministry of Health & Family. Welfare vide their O.M, No. A-45012/04/2017-CHS-V (Pt), dated 09.04.2019 issued the instructions regarding grant of Conveyance Allowance post 7th CPC at the revised rate to Central Health Service (CHS) Doctors.- These instructions were adopted mutatis-mutandis for Railway Medical Officers and circulated over Indian. Railways vide Railway Board’s Letter of even number dated 09.06.2020.

2. Now, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, in consultation with MoF, has issued the revised instructions regarding grant of Conveyance Allowance post 7th CPC at the revised rate to Central Health Service (CHS) Doctors vide their O.M. No, 45013/01/2020-CHS-V (8077716), dated 01.12.2021.

3. It has now been decided with the approval of the Competent Authority to adopt the above-mentioned instructions dated 01.12.2021 of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare mutatis-mutandis for Railway Medical Officers also.

4, These orders are issued in supersession of all the earlier orders on the subject and will take effect from 01.07.2017.
