Skip to mainAn EPFO member can check his or her PF balance online in four ways: through the Umang App, the EPFO portal, SMS to 7738299899, or a missed call to 011-22901406.
EPFO members can now use the Umang App to check their PF balance on their mobile phones. The Government of India (GoI) established this app to give EPFO members access to a variety of government initiatives and services on a one platform. A user can access their EPF Passbook, as well as file and track EPF claims. EPFO members must complete a one-time registration after downloading the Umang App to their mobile phone to be eligible for this perk.
By signing in to the EPFO portal — epfindia.gov.in/site en/index.php — an EPFO subscriber can check their PF balance. After logging in, they must follow the step-by-step instructions below:
It should be noted that if an EPFO member's UAN is activated by their employer, they can access their EPF passbook. In truth, the EPFO issues UANs, but they are only activated if the employer verifies them.
A member of EPFO can check his or her PF balance by sending an SMS to 7738299899. EPFOHO UAN ENG would be the SMS text format. The first three digits of the desired language are the last three digits in the SMS. This SMS service is also accessible in Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali, among other languages. The SMS must, however, be sent from the cell number associated with the UAN.
EPFO members can use the EPFO missed call service to check their PF balance. An EPFO user must make a missed call from their UAN-registered mobile number to 011-22901406. EPFO will send your PF information to your registered mobile number right away.
