Apple launches iPhone 5S and cheaper version 5C
Apple yesterday night launched the much awaited cheaper version of its mobile phone or iPhone - the iPhone 5C along with the premium model 5S. This is the first time the apple is releasing two models of its iPhone together. 

The iPhone 5C has retained most of the features available in the iPhone 5. It comes with a 4 inch retina display and an 8 megapixel camera. The casing of the new phone is mainly plastic and without any aluminum side and glass back as in the iPhone 5. The 5C also is available in green, blue, yellow, pink and white colours.

The phone will cost $99 for the 16GB version and $199 for the 32 GB with a two years contract in India

The higher end iPhone 5S come with same 4 inch display and 8 megapixel camera. But the camera has got a higher picture resolution. The new camera also features a dual flash, which Apple calls True Tone. The flash fires two bursts of lights at once, each slightly different in colour. The iPhone will adjust the combination of the two automatically to bring out more natural skin tones and other colors in images. The 5S run on a faster, 64-bit processor - apple A7, which the company claims is the only mobile phone to have a 64 bit processor.

One of the most anticipated feature on the 5S was its fingerprint reader. The phone comes with a fingerprint-recognition system that lets you easily unlock phones without having to type the PIN to unlock. The phone comes with a fingerprint-recognition system - the Touch ID, that lets users easily unlock phones without having to type the PIN to unlock. The sensor for the fingerprint scanner is embedded in its home button. Touch ID can also be used as a secure way to approve purchases from the iTunes Store, App Store or iBooks Store.
