The current catalog of designs has been specifically designed for sending e-Greetings for the Independence Day,

Inaugurating the portal, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad exhorted all Government employees to send e-Greetings in future to save nature and money. The objective of the portal is to promote a contemporary and eco-friendly method of sending Greetings by Government officials and agencies to colleagues and friends. The campaign was enthusiastically received by MyGov users with 3572 designs submitted. Nearly twenty selected designs are available on the portal.

Launched with creative designs specific to the Independence Day, the creative designs for other national occasions and festivals are also being developed and will be made available on the e-Greeting portal from time to time.

While the portal was initially developed for government users, it is open to all citizens for sending greetings to their family and friends.
